纽约WNYC AM 820电台是最早服务于纽约及全美的广播电台之一，始播于1924年7月8号。1995年，WNYC的基金会以2000万美元的价格拿下来FM 93.9和AM 820的广播执照，WNYC成为一个非盈利的独立运作的广播电台，其经营预算超过60%来自于听众的捐赠。
目前WNYC AM 820的节目主要以新闻时事内容为主，也会转播部分NPR广播和BBC广播节目。

Well................I find that this radio is amazing ! You know.......sometimes I can't understand what the radio is truely talking about, but I can when it comes to the New York one . I sincerely recommend you this one amd I wish you can learn something from it and it can help you anyway !
