Man: Elizabeth, when I was 14 years old, my family joined other families at a public pool. We were playing a game in the pool when I hit my head against the side and sank to the bottom.

Elizabeth: Well obviously you survived it because you're here today.

Man: Yes I did and the story of the survival reminds me of the story today from Genesis 16 - The God who sees.

Hi I'm Connie Jeffery, and you're listening to Voice of Prophecy. We're studying through the Book of Genesis this month, focusing on the stories of some of the great Bible patriarchs. We're in the story of Abraham today, but we'll be turning our attention to one of the women in his life because of a special encounter she had with God. In fact one of the biblical names of God comes from the story we're considering today.
